Gothenburg International Film Festival, 23 January – 2 Februrary, is Scandinavia’s largest public film festival with 450 films from 67 different countries. A must for all film lovers.
Kosterhavet Marine National Park, the first marine national park in Sweden, opens in September 2009.
From 22 September is the start of the lobster season along the Swedish west coast. Many of the hotels and restaurants along the coast offer lobster safaris.
