In just 50 years Kållered has been transformed from a purely rural area into one of the region's largest retail centres. All the major chains are represented: Elgiganten, Coop, OnOff, SIBA, Jysk and of course IKEA, with around 3 million visitors each year. Generous opening hours seven days a week.

In the centre you will find a bank, post office, off-licence, pharmacy and lots of pleasant stores within easy walking distance of each other. The car parks are just a stone's throw from the pedestrianised street and its side streets, ideal for children. There are large nationwide chain stores and a wide range of specialist stores. Food is an obvious feature with a fishmonger's, bakery and the number of pleasant restaurants and cafes to satisfy a variety of tastes. It is also close to the buses, trams and commuter trains.
