Art and gardens by lake Hornborgasjön

Guide to artists and gardens along The Hornborga Area – between lakes Vänern and Vättern. The region around The Hornborga Area is fascinating in terms of both cultural and natural resources. It includes the area around lake Hornborgasjön, lake Östen, the Valle district and Billingen plateau. A greatly varied region, it contains remains from the Ice Age, as well as hardwood forests, a diverse agricultural landscape and untouched wilderness. The area has always inspired artists, and now you don’t have far to travel between the artists’ studios, verdant garden cafes and nurseries.

This article presents some favourites from The Hornborga Area.
