Tanum in brief
Area-wise, Tanum is the largest of the Bohuslän municipalities at 909 km2. It has a population of over 12,200, most of whom live along the coast, fewer in the forest and agricultural areas inland, and hardly any in the east, between the lakes of Bullaren and the border with Dalsland.
